This is the perfect example of a gift of capitalism: a book you would never ever think of needing but once you know that exists, you can't stop thinking about it until you can get your hands on a copy.
“Make food out of stuff you buy at this certain store” actually might be a bit of an obnoxious idea if the store were anything other than Trader Joe's. One of the things I like best about Trader Joe's is that it a higher quality food store for people who aren't so precious about what they're eating. Or in other words, a store I can stand to be in without wanting to stick a nail in my eye.
